Just a motorcyclist...
Once upon a time, a girl decided to teach herself to ride in a land far, far away. Read about that and other two-wheeled musings.
Cristi Farrell A true California girl to heart, I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley and backcountry of June Lake. I am a graduate of Notre Dame High School and UC Santa Cruz. An unquenchable thirst for wanderlust over the years led me to kayak around Antiparos and the Greek Islands, hike the trails of rural Northern Spain and faceplant a pile of rocks outside Pamplona, ride trains in Amsterdam, dodge wild monkeys on the Straits of Gibraltar, drink Ginginha and watch the sun set on the beaches of Portugal, build houses in Mexico, race road bicycles in Baja, climb mountains in the Nepalese Himalayas and narrowly avoid being gored by a yak, and cook (but mostly eat) my fair share of exotic dishes in Thailand. I abandoned (temporarily) a career in the environmental industry to take time off and explore the world a bit. Over six years of traveling, I've been to at least 25 countries, walked thousands of miles on foot, and logged over 25,000 miles on motorcycle.
